This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and storage technologies cadelsette.com uses, for what purposes, and how users can manage their preferences, in line with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021 and the ePrivacy Directive.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device to store information. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, save data directly in the browser without automatically sending it to the server. Below, the term “cookie” covers all of these technologies for simplicity.
2. Types of cookies used
Essential for the site to work: they store age verification, language and these very preferences. They do not require consent. With statistics consent, a random browser identifier is retained for 90 days to distinguish new and returning visits and attribute visits to campaigns. It is not linked to email addresses or names and does not identify people across devices. We measure pages, active time, selected language, requested documents and approximate country, region and city; cities are shown only with at least 5 browsers. Withdrawal deletes the identifier, events and recordings linked to that browser, not just the current session. No data before consent. Recordings require separate consent.
3. Legal basis
Strictly necessary website technologies do not require consent. Statistics and behavioral analysis are optional and rely on consent, which can be withdrawn at any time; maps and recordings also require separate consent.

Recording text and fields are masked; forms, images and video are excluded. Retention: events 90 days (configurable maximum 180), recordings 7 days (maximum 30), consent receipts 180 days. 6. Managing and withdrawing consent
On first access the user can accept, reject or customise cookies through the banner. Choices can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, with effect for the future. Consent is requested again after 6 months or in case of substantial changes. Cookies can also be managed or deleted from the browser settings; disabling technical cookies may impair the site's operation.
