Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and storage technologies www.cadelsette.it uses, for what purposes, and how users can manage their preferences, in line with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021 and the ePrivacy Directive.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device to store information. Similar technologies, such as localStorage, save data directly in the browser without automatically sending it to the server. Below, the term “cookie” covers all of these technologies for simplicity.
2. Types of cookies used
This site uses cookies and technical storage necessary for operation (age verification, language preference, storage of cookie choices) and third-party statistics cookies, activated only with the user's consent, to analyse site usage in aggregate form. No advertising or profiling cookies are used.
3. Legal basis
Technical cookies and technical storage require no consent, being necessary to provide the requested service (Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Third-party statistics cookies and third-party embedded content are installed only with the user's free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, given through the banner or the preferences panel.
4. Third-party cookies and services
With consent, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd.) for browsing statistics, with anonymised IP and consent mode active. Some pages may embed, on the user's explicit action, maps provided by Google Maps. The processing of data by these parties is governed by their own notices, available at policies.google.com/privacy. The site also uses Umami (Umami Software, Inc.), a cookie-free statistics tool that stores no identifier on the device and therefore requires no consent: data is collected exclusively in aggregated, anonymous form (umami.is/privacy).
5. Detailed list
Local technical storage (localStorage, no automatic expiry): age verification, preferred language, consent preferences. Statistics cookies, only with consent: Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*), lasting up to 24 months, with anonymised IP. Third-party content, only on explicit action or with consent: Google Maps for the locations map.
6. Managing and withdrawing consent
On first access the user can accept, reject or customise cookies through the banner. Choices can be changed or withdrawn at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer, with effect for the future. Consent is requested again after 6 months or in case of substantial changes. Cookies can also be managed or deleted from the browser settings; disabling technical cookies may impair the site's operation.
7. Updates
This Cookie Policy may be updated if the cookies used or the applicable law change. The current version is always available on this page. For the processing of personal data, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
